Dean Angie D'Agostino, Esq.

For nearly four decades, Angie D’Agostino has been a driving force in legal education, public service, and student advocacy. She began her career at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 1986 as a secretary in the Office of Admissions and rose to the position of Assistant Dean for Admissions in 1994, a role she held for years while helping shape generations of entering classes and guiding thousands of aspiring lawyers through the admissions process. In 2000, she was appointed Dean for Students and later served as Dean for Student & Campus Affairs, a position she held until her retirement in June 2026 following forty years of distinguished service to the law school community.

As Dean for Student & Campus Affairs, Dean D’Agostino oversaw all aspects of student life and support services. In 2014, her responsibilities expanded to include Campus Affairs and Residential Life, providing leadership for all university services delivered through the law school, including food service, the campus store, financial aid, residential life, and transportation. She also supervised student organizations, retention and enrollment initiatives, and scholarship awards and renewals. Her leadership has always been guided by a deep commitment to service above self, mentoring generations of law students and fostering a community grounded in respect, support, and resilience.

Dean D’Agostino’s commitment to service extends well beyond the law school campus. Since 2000, she has been a proud member of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester County, where she has served on the Scholarship Committee, helping support and encourage the next generation of legal professionals. She has also served on the Advisory Board to the Westchester County Board of Legislators for People with Disabilities, advocating for accessibility, increased awareness, and equity for individuals with disabilities throughout the county.

Throughout her career, Dean D’Agostino has repeatedly been called upon to lead during times of crisis. She provided critical support to the law school community during the events of September 11, 2001, and in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. From March 2020 through August 2023, she served as the law school's COVID-19 Campus Lead, guiding the institution through one of the most challenging periods in higher education history. Her leadership has consistently been characterized by compassion, principled decision-making, and an unwavering commitment to safety, continuity, and community well-being.

A passionate advocate for mental health and wellness, Dean D’Agostino transformed campus culture by integrating wellness, fitness, and mindfulness into student life. Among her many initiatives, she led the creation of a campus yoga room and the Zen Den, a dedicated space for relaxation and reflection, while championing programming that placed student well-being at the forefront of the law school experience.

Her many honors include the Pace University President’s Award for Service, the YES President’s Award for Service, and the Honorable Richard J. Daronco Distinguished Service Award, recognizing her decades of dedication to students, colleagues, and the broader community.

Dean D’Agostino earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pace University, her Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 1999, and her Master of Public Administration from Pace University in 2017. She is admitted to practice law in the Second Judicial Department of the State of New York.
